I traveled from New York City for work, staying at Placemakr Dupont Circle Aparthotel for two nights. The staff was lovely and welcoming, and I found the building to be beautiful with its classic architectural detailing, crown molding, and high ceilings. My suite was spacious and comfortable, allowing me to relax and complete work efficiently. The kitchenette was a great feature that encouraged me to cook for myself, which I rarely do when traveling for business. I appreciated the good wifi and proximity to Dupont Circle.

The hotel does not offer free parking as advertised, resulting in unexpected additional costs.

The studio apartment was spacious and well-equipped. The staff provided exceptional service, particularly the friendly team members on duty during the weekend.

The noise levels from the street were bothersome at times.

The apartment had a full size refrigerator and a small kitchenette which was great for preparing meals, even breakfast. The location in Dupont Circle was excellent, very close to a Metro station allowing easy access to landmarks.

It wasn't exactly a bargain but the quality made it worth it.

As a single traveler, I appreciated having a spacious studio with all the essentials, allowing me to unwind after a day of walking around the beautiful city.

Decent Stay with Room for Improvement

I stayed for 2 nights in a Deluxe Studio Apartment. While the location was convenient, the van blocking the driveway made rideshare pickups tricky. The room needed maintenance and wasn't serviced during my stay. I recommend checking for available food options nearby for the best experience.

I loved the historical vibe of the building with gorgeous crown molding that gives it such character! The well-equipped kitchenette allowed me to whip up some home-cooked meals—how convenient! Plus, being in a bustling area with delicious dining options nearby made every evening an adventure!

Nice spacious studio with a full kitchen. I loved having a microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. Good shower pressure, comfy bed, and plenty of natural light in the room. The building's historic charm and gorgeous architecture added to my stay. Staff was super friendly, and the fitness center was a plus.
